United Synergies is committed to providing young people with a sense of confidence and optimism about their future. Young people who are disengaged from mainstream schooling or who are ineligible to attend can face significant difficulties in achieving their personal goals for employment, further study and social belonging.
The Noosa Flexible Learning Centre is part of the Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Learning Centre Network in Queensland (which forms EREA's Youth and National Initiative for supporting marginalised youth).
Recognised leaders in creating educational pathways and socially inclusive communities for disenfranchised young people, the Noosa FLC works in partnership with United Synergies to provide wrap around service to the Centre's students.
Noosa FLC provides an educational environment where students, who are typically aged between 14 and 18, feel safe, secure and encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and complete their secondary schooling in a flexible learning environment. It also aims to foster a sense of belonging, civic responsibility and links young people into various programs and support services run through United Synergies and other young support networks.
