United Synergies provides services to families, and in particular young people, to assist them in achieving their full potential.  Our programs and services are available to young people and their families on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, as well as other communities around Australia (view PDF)

Our services include:

Accommodation for young people
Providing accommodation support ranging from 24 hr/7 day supervised care to transitional accommodation to independent living.

Pre-employment and training services
Individual assistance for young people transitioning to further education or work.

Work experience
Working with employers and schools to secure specialised work placement for young people.

Youth support programs
Working in partnership with local schools, families and community networks to ensure young people stay connected to their education.

Mentoring
The Connect 2 Mentoring program connects young people with talented and experienced people in our community.

Learning for Life
An educational support program that provides direct financial assistance to children for the essentials of school life, delivered in partnership with The Smith Family.

Alternative education
Access to formal secondary schooling in an informal and supportive learning environment.

Younger parent support programs
Equipping young parents with the skills and support required to ensure their children have the best start in life.

Suicide prevention and bereavement support
Providing suicide prevention and bereavement support via the StandBy program to communities and individuals (regardless of age) dealing with the tragedy of suicide.

Counselling and referral -  Provided by United Synergies and other partner organisations to help young people and families meet the challenges in their lives.

Volunteer management - Harnessing the talent and wealth of experience in our local community to support young people and the day to day work undertaken by United Synergies.

Consulting services - Training to the human services sector and other industries (including workplaces).
