Job Placement Employment & Training (JPET)

This program provides young people with individualised support and placement into employment and training. It relies on professional services and expertise within local community support agencies and is designed to assist marginalised and at risk young people aged between 15 and 21 years.

JPET may be of assistance for young people who are facing problems such as:

  • Homelessness
  • Drug & alcohol issues
  • Trouble with the law
  • Family problems
  • Behaviour issues
  • Mental health problems
  • Language, reading or writing problems

Through JPET young people can be helped with finding a place to live, goal setting, legal and health issues, Centrelink and income support, continuing education, job search (including resume preparation), and other personal or social issues.

Our JPET staff assist young people from a wide range of locations including: Noosa, Noosa Hinterland, Caloundra, Coolum, Maroochydore, Gympie and Kingaroy.
